Ahhh.. Nightwish, Mercenary, Children Of Bodom, Rhapsody, Finntroll, After Forever.. This one is nice..! But if I should go somewhere it should be Wacken..! http://www.wacken.com/en/main-woa05/billing/ Awsome bands..!!!! But not allowed to go either.. :( And I hate it..

But Wacken is much more exprenisve...
And Earthshakers is a "Nre Comer" festival and not that much people are there!

Yes, it is much more expensive! But if you look at the bands comming it's damn worth it! 70 EUR is not that much anyway.. :)

for me Earthshalers is better...
Dragonforce, Equilibrium, Ensiferum, naglfar, Sonata Arctica, Tursias
These are the only Banmds that interests me and i have not seen yet
All the others I love I had seen before or would have seen @ Earthshakers.
But being fucking young sux hard -.-

Mercenary at Earthshaker! Now that's great because I won't go to Wacken. The Earthshaker Billing is fucking awesome, Nightwish, Grave Digger, Masterplan, Rhapsody Finntroll and [u]Mercenary</u> for some Action and manowar and JBO to have some good laughs :D

Yeah, i was thinking about going to the Earthshaker and as i saw Mercenary is coming too i really wanted to go there. The Only Problem:
I´d hate it to go there alone, its 300km away from here [xx(]

i wanted to go to wacken, because mercenary and sentenced! for me it is quite cheap and wacken is not far away. i know a lot of people who go to wacken and so i go with them and because i am only 16. it is the first time that i am on a metal festival! thats my first and last chance to see sentenced, but at the moment the future make me sick...

Ugh... I am glad I am not the one to miss them! They kick ass live... And Manni Smith, though awfully ugly to look at, plays exceptionally...
But... if you haven't seen Mercenary before, then go see them! they are a better liveact imo. But it is a shame to miss GD, for sure!

OK, here the setlist in the correct order:

1. Falling
2. Firesoul
3. ReDestructDead
4. Seize the Night
5. Into the Sea of Dark Desire
6. World Hate Center
7. 11 Dreams

Falling on stage was new to me, especially the fading out was awesome. The performance was great and the audience was really into it, much more than on the Summerbreeze, although you had to miss half of Grave Digger to see Mercenary so I think it's really meaningful that so many people were there. Unfortunately Mercenary had a short playing time. one time it seemed to me they had to cut off the audience applauding because it took too much time(did I get this right Mikkel?).

I think Mercenary got quite some recognition there, everyone enjoyed it. Later they signed autographs(a free signed poster for everyone, horay!) and I got some facts about the tour with Nevermore. Bad news: only 45 minute long setlist als usually. Good news: they're right now working on Loneliness and will perform it on stage two or three times, so I hope I get a lucky draw;)

i cant see them on the Nevermore Tour, cause no gig near to me.
But as i heared too, Mercenary was one of the Highlights at ESF!

My fifth time Nightwish really wasn't a highlight. The setlist was awful, not ONE song from Oceanborn. I just can't figure out why they keep playing Ghost Love Score, half of the song comes from tape and it's way too long, they could play two other songs for it. All in all the setlist seemed incoherent and sound was not that good(but many bands had that problem, the technichians obviously weren't the best ones, as well as the securities). I'm very disappointed, especially because their gigs in Stuttgart and Munich on the last tour were magnificent, but on the Earthshaker they really didn't meet their own standards

That's a shame, but I do not agree that they should not play Ghost Love Score. I LOVE that song! They could have shortned it down, yes. Almost 50 percent of it is instrumental and I'd love to hear it with the real orchestra.
Oooh!! Nooo!! Not even Sleeping Sun? My favourite song! *Swears* They should have borrowed Wilska (now that Finntroll was there) and played Pharaoh Sails To Orion. \m/ Or Stargazers (even though I heard it sucks live, but anyway) or something from Angels Fall First! It's such a shame they almost only play songs from Once. Not that I don't like the album, but I'm a psycopatic Oceanborn fan. :D
What do you mean by last tour? Century Child tour or what?

No, I meant the Once Tour, but the Century Child tour was great too
I like Ghost Love Score, too, but without choir and orchestra it's not worth to be played on stage. Come on, we can get both Pharao and Sleeping Sun for it, so what's better?

I really can't tell how many people saw Mercenary, from my position in the first row I had a bad overview ;) Maybe they can tell themselves soon

The ESF was a very cool experience for us, we had a fantastic time on stage, people were really into it. From were we stood, which had a perfect overview, we estimate around 2500 people were there give or take a few :-) And thanx to all that showed up for the signing session, that was way beyond our expectations. You Rule!!!

I just get a call of a friend, who was @ Earthshakers.
He saw Mercenary at the meet and Greet and because no one was there (or something like that) he went to them.
The great thing: he had not forgotten me and will send me now a poster with all signings of Mercenary + For Clansman (my nick in the iron maiden board)
Now I can wear the Tshirt again, because i have the signings on a poster :)
