The name Mercenary

Where/how did you come up with that name?

Back in 1991 when Kral and a guy called Andreas was forming their band, they sat in a room and listened to some Slayer and suddenly among the lyrics came the words 'fallen mercenary', and they thought "Hey!" - so after that the name Mercenary was chosen.
They also had some crazy image things about getting pianted as soldiers when they were on stage, but they stopped it after some time. Too difficult to get painted before a show and wash it off after the show.

The band biography really sucks on the Mercenary hp! There aren't much old stuff to read about.

Cool. But would really like them (Kral) to write some sort of a history at their site. Also their "old history"... you know.
