I did manage to grab a copy of the album, but decided to not listen to it, since, for me, it definitely diminishes the great feeling of ordering the CD and putting it in and letting it spin for that first time, after waiting so long.

Getting leaked promo's really cheapens the effect, and having these promos out there really sucks for the bands.

I did cheat a little though, I have to admit, and listened to "Redefine Me" which I thought was entirely AMAZING, so I look forward to this album with high hopes. I haven't listened to the offical release however. I don't want to get too deep into it before I get it.

That said, to the band, a comment about sharing music: I know that sharing the tracks (and not by any means the entire album) with people is a very awesome way to get out a good sample to a core audience that may be hesitant with what you officially release and that have not heard of you. Long gone are the days when people can put on a CD for friends and say "hey listen to this!" .. In the days of the internet, and music sharing, it's definitely easier (and imo better) to embrace the fact that it will happen then swear off all ideas of it. Typically, your target audience of metalheads are willing to shell out for stuff they like. You'll get the support financially moreso if more people are encouraged to listen to your work.

I've sent 3-4 songs (typically one from each album) of yours to friends of mine on the net, and most of them who enjoyed it did in fact purchace the CDs.

Alas promo downloading, I fully support a strict "stop it assholes" approach.

Der var sådan et kor-stykke i "Redefine me", som muligvis er det fedeste jeg længe har hørt og i hvert fald det fedeste danske vokal arbejde nogensinde!
