Preorders Are Up!

Preorders are up! (for those that may not check the main page)
ordered the Limited Edition! :D

my wallet's taking one hell of a beating this month.
cost 30 euros or whatever to get it to the US.
I imagine 30 euros is like 40something bucks? haha
oh well ive heard the album and i know its worth it and hopefully the dvd will be cool.

Hmm i checked the site and also Amazon(.de):
Amazon(.de) has three results for The Hours that remain:

#1: Thtr limited (double cd) - Century media August 18th - available: preorder - 16,99€
#2: Thtr audio cd - Century media August 22nd - available: not available any longer
#3: Thtr audio cd - Century media August 18th - available: preorder - 16,99€

I guess #1 and #3 are the right ones, while #1 is the Limited and #3 the regular edition. But why is the Regular edition same price as the limited (don´t get me wrong, i´m surely looking forward getting the limited, i´m just wondering... Metalblade (MB != CM i know :)) Limited editions are usually about 19,99€)?

And why does amazon say it is available August 18th. If it is available August 18th i would get it in my local shop.

I wouldn't know about the different prices, but you probably shouldn't expect any shops to carry the cd before the 21st.

To Tang - We actually just lowered the price a bit for US shipments. We had to add a regional tax to cover the higher postage costs to all orders outside of Europe, but we set it a bit too high at first - it's now set to 10% which covers the actual expenses. If you were one of the guys who ordered it very early today, you'll have a small refund via paypal to cover the excess charge

Hey guys. I don't have a PayPal account so I just ordered the limited edition through PayPal using VISA. I hope all went well with my order and you'll receive my money soon. I'm so excited I'm almost killing myself rocking out to Soul Decision! :D

Jakob: It says it's shipping to arrive on the 21st, does that include the USA? I'm putting my pre-order in but desprately want it before ProgPower.

Edit: Gah, $35 usd for the special release. That's nearly 2.5x the regular cost of a CD. You guys are killing me. Ugh, the things I put up with to be a fan. :D (Shipping and Tax killed me. I demand you start producing the albums and reside in the USA for my convienience.)

I'm sorry that the cds are a bit pricey, but we actually charge less than ordinary stores here in Denmark/Europe and only add what is needed to cover our expenses. We realize that with the current very low dollar rate the cds will be much cheaper in the states, but there's not a lot we can do about that.

As for the shipping, we'll aim for everyone to receive the cds at the releasedate by shipping them according to standard delivery time, so yeah in theory arrival on the 21st applies to all orders.

Awesome Jakob, thanks for the response :) ... No worries about the CD price man, I'm just giving you shit. I know it's more expensive for people here to buy CDs before they actually are released here, so I rarely do it, but due to the fact that I LOVE to sing along at concerts, I'm definitely willing to shell out to be able to do that at ProgPower.

And to actually have THTR on or around the 21st? Thats totally worth it.

Hi Ozzidan and welcome to the board!
The distribution list is just an outdated list of the distribution companies that used to carry our label's products in the listed countries and have nothing to do with the preorders, which we handle ourselves - shipping to Australia is no problem :)
