Though my last Mercenary-experience in Essen (supporting Death Angel) was awesome, and though I really like the new album, I hope they're going to play some older stuff too.

I'd love to see Firesoul, Everblack, Lost Reality or - one of my favourites! - The Hours That Remain! Well actually, I could make a wish for a single song, it'd be The Hours That Remain! Come on guys, pleeeeeeeeeeease!

I don´t know how big the venue is, think I would buy the tickets already... But with all fees and shipping one ticket is 35 Euros actually! :confused: Quite expensive!

Ah come on, 35 EUR is ok for both Mercenary and Arch Enemy, and you get two other bands on top (I think?!).
Anyway, my way is 200km one way, so I'll definetly preorder once I'm back from holiday and hope it's not sold out by that time...

You are ever so right mate, I'd love them to play it. I sadly don't think they will.
I saw them earlier this year in Essen supporting Death Angel. They really kicked ass, but had to rush through their songs due to lack of time. They even had to stop people from celebrating them too long. I'm afraid, as there'll be plenty of bands on the December Tyranny tour, they'll have to rush trough some AoL songs again and that's it. I'd love to see them play some of the "precious-though-not-most-popular"-songs. Hope they'll tour Germany as headliners someday soon. Can't figure why they're not more popular round here, by the way. To my mind, they outleveled, say, InFlames. I consider AoL way better than Mirror's Truth. Yet, anyone knows InFlames, few know Mercenary. What a world ^^

Great show again at Uden, NL! Was a bit too loud but who cares :) I loved World Hate Center but I missed 11 dreams :( Also, 1/2 hour playtime was way too short !!

I really liked how the band just hangs around at their own merch stand :D Thanks all for signing my LP!! And René thanks for the pic man !! I should bring a better camera next time though, lol!

Oh and don't forget! Next time:
- Be headliner ;) you deserve it and have more than enough awesome material!
- Play @ De Boerderij, Zoetermeer, NL (www.boerderij.org)

Yeah, thats pretty cool. Saw them earlier this year in Essen, D @Turock. There's a bar upstairs, and while Death Angel was playing, I merely bumped into Jakob coming up the stairs. Couldn't believe at first, never met band members just hanging around after their gig. And the rest joined in after a while. Which is why I now hold a fully signed AoL-poster + René's bass-pick hanging on my wall :P . Was awesome.

Thus it's a pity I'm also interested in Arch Enemy this time ;-)

Jacob told me they were planning to headline Germany in 09 (seemingly on the Execution tour). Sadly, no dates are postponed on the website yet, but I really look for it.

But: My house is around 60 km's away from the nearest venue on Mercenary's list (Odense) which means a good long train and taxi ride. :D

And another but: It's not the ticket that kills my economy, but the transport prices.

Are trains and taxis that expensive in Denmark? What is the price for a ride - lets say from your house to Odense?

Hey guys, im new on your forums.

I saw your show in Zagreb Croatia a few weeks back and i must say it was amazing ^^
I still find it funny that you guys have to sell your own merchandise, but i think its awesome because i got to talk to some of you ( a lot of people did, so i doubt your remember me heh). I think if more bands sold their own merchandise they would sell much more stuff :)

Anyways i hope you come to visit us again real soon, and that your new album comes out fast, im sure it will be the best one yet.
I will keep posting here and supporting you.
